藍島（福岡県）

猫密度 全体的に薄い
福岡県には相島と藍島という2つの同名に島があり、どちらも猫の島として有名です。北九州市にある藍島は小倉駅近くの小倉港から船で35分程度とアクセスは良好ですが、1便目に乗らないと滞在時間的に難しいのが難点です。猫は総勢50匹程度と推測されます。
港近くに数匹、神社近くに数匹、トンネル付近に数匹、小学校近くに数匹といった具合です。特徴としては、地域猫としてよく管理されており、戸の猫も丸々太っております。観光客慣れもしているので、猫の方から近寄ってきます。ただ、大量の猫発生イベントとはならず、数匹がテリトリーを分けてのんびりと暮らしております。耳を見る限り、去勢手術をしてるなという感じで管理されており、無茶な増え方をしていることもなく平和的です。場所によっては生存競争激しいところもありますが、穏やかな性格の猫が多いという印象でした。

Cat density overall thin
There are two islands with the same name, Ainoshima and Ainoshima, in Fukuoka Prefecture, both of which are famous as cat islands. Ainoshima in Kitakyushu is easily accessible by boat from Kokura Port near Kokura Station, which is about 35 minutes away, but the drawback is that it is difficult to stay if you do not take the first flight. It is estimated that there are about 50 cats in total.
A few near the harbor, a few near the shrine, a few near the tunnel, a few near the elementary school, and so on. As a feature, it is well managed as a local cat, and the cat in the door is also plump. I'm used to tourists, so I'm approaching from cats. However, it is not a large number of cat outbreak events, and several cats live leisurely in different territories. As far as I can see, it is managed as if I had castration surgery, and it is peaceful without any unreasonable increase. Depending on the location, there are fierce competition for survival, but I got the impression that many cats have a gentle personality.

熊本県の天草地方、有明海に浮かぶ小さな島である湯島は、地域猫の島として有名です。島の人たちが共同で猫の世話をしているので、猫の家や、猫の餌場などが設置されております。猫は200匹以上いるといわれておりますが、意外と数は少ないように感じます。飼われている猫ということで、警戒心は薄く、観光客慣れしている猫が多い印象でした。

Yushima, a small island in the Ariake Sea in the Amakusa region of Kumamoto Prefecture, is famous as a regional cat island. Since the people of the island jointly take care of cats, there are cat houses and cat feeding areas. It is said that there are more than 200 cats, but I feel that the number is surprisingly small. Being a domestic cat, I was not very cautious, and I had the impression that many cats were accustomed to tourists.

日本のナポリとか呼ばれる美しい港町である保戸島。1平方キロメートルにも満たない小さな島に、800人近い人が住む、結構人口密度の高い島です。猫の島としての認知度は低いのですが、港付近を中心に、野良猫なのか、地域猫なのかわからない猫がちらほら。
天気が雨から、晴れに変わると一気に日向ぼっこをしに現れ、思わぬ大漁という結果に。
Hotojima is a beautiful port city called Naples in Japan. It is a fairly densely populated island with nearly 800 people living on a small island of less than a square kilometer. 地震で壊滅的被害が出た玄海島。地震からの復興を果たし、新しい家や鉄筋のマンションが目を引きます。猫島としてはそれほど有名ではないし、そこまで頭数もいないのでで猫島マニアも少なく、じっくりと猫を観察できます。比較的人に慣れている猫と、かなり人を警戒する猫がはっきりと分かれます。自分が来島したときは子猫が生まれていて、似つかない猫が必死に子育てをしておりました。

世界猫の聖地のひとつとして挙げられている相島。もちろん猫はたくさんおります。猫目当ての観光客も多数。ただ、愛媛の青島ほどの数はおらず、エサもたくさんもらっているせいか、猫もずっと寝てばかり。アクティブな佐柳島とかと比べると、猫のやる気のなさは一目瞭然。
とはいえ、福岡発で半日で行って来られる相島は猫島初心者には超おすすめスポットです。

Ainoshima is listed as one of the sacred places of cats in the world. Of course there are many cats. Many tourists are looking for cats. However, the number is not as large as that of Aoshima in Ehime, and probably because I get a lot of food, the cats are sleeping all the time. Compared to the active Sanagi Island, the lack of motivation of cats is obvious.
However, Ainoshima, which departs from Fukuoka in half a day, is a highly recommended spot for beginners on Nekojima.

海のない滋賀県ですが、琵琶湖に有人等があり、そこに野良猫たちが多分20匹くらいいます。琵琶湖観光地としても有名ですし、日本で唯一の内陸の有人島としても有名で、そこそこ観光地化されている島です。
関西地区からですと、日帰りでも簡単に行けますし、近江八幡は見所の多い町ですので、おすすめです。
