海のない滋賀県ですが、琵琶湖に有人等があり、そこに野良猫たちが多分20匹くらいいます。琵琶湖観光地としても有名ですし、日本で唯一の内陸の有人島としても有名で、そこそこ観光地化されている島です。

関西地区からですと、日帰りでも簡単に行けますし、近江八幡は見所の多い町ですので、おすすめです。

Although there is no sea in Shiga Prefecture, there are humans in Lake Biwa, and there are probably about 20 stray cats there. It is also famous as a Lake Biwa sightseeing spot, and is also the only inland inhabited island in Japan.

From the Kansai area, it is easy to go on a day trip, and Omi Hachiman is a town with many attractions, so it is recommended.
