笠岡列島で真鍋航路で最も遠い島である真鍋島。お隣は香川の猫島佐柳島。映画のロケ地とかにもなっており、、猫のほかにも観光志願がある真鍋島。人口も500人近くあり、結構栄えている印象です。猫たちは、非常に自由気ままに暮らしております。港付近2か所、公園付近、学校付近など出没地もいろいろ。大所帯でいることは少なく、ものすごく平和な感じでのんびりとしておりました。青島の圧倒的な猫密度には勝てませんが、目を凝らせばどこかに猫は出没します。野良猫ではなく、地域猫が多いのも特徴ですね。

Cat density A little near the harbor and near the park 

Manabe Island is the farthest island on the Manabe route in the Kasaoka Islands. The neighbor is Nekojima Sayanagi in Kagawa. Manabe Island is also a location for movies, and cats as well as tourists. It has a population of nearly 500 people and is quite prosperous. The cats live very freely. There are a variety of habitats such as two near the port, near the park, near the school. I rarely stayed in a large area, and I was laid back with a very peaceful feeling. You can't beat Qingdao's overwhelming cat density, but if you look closely, the cat will appear somewhere. It is also a feature that there are many local cats, not stray cats.
